NEW Songwriting Retreats

3 Day Mini-Retreat & Songwriting Theme Days!

March & April 2021

These workshops are for anyone over 16 who wants to write a song that matters: to ourselves, to the people (or pets) we love, and to the world. Our songs can be funny, heavy, catchy or sappy. We'll just be looking for ways to say what we really want to say. We'll explore everything from the bag of tricks we use in songwriting to discussions of why we need to write in the first place, plus how we can stay the course and finish our songs, no matter how discouraging the voices in our heads might be.

Mini-retreat is limited to 48 attendees and theme days to 20 writers per day.

* All attendees will receive an invitation to a private zoom Mini Dar Concert

Private Serenades and Concerts from TOPEKA

Have you ever thought how nice it would be if you could have Dar Williams sing a private online concert for you and some friends. Maybe help create the set list? Chat online after having her sing your favorite song? Work with you to make your song the best it can be? Topeka.live can make it happen.

If you are interested in setting something up go to darwilliams.topeka.live and check out what options are available.

What I Found in a Thousand Towns

Are you part of a book group or looking for an excuse to start one? Over the next couple of months, if you choose What I Found in a Thousand Towns as your next book, Dar can join you for a half hour on Zoom at the end of your discussion.

We’re limiting this offer to 5, so first come, first served! No fee, but if you feel inclined, you can make a donation to a local organization that “thinks in bridges” as Dar says in her book. Email Patty@bulletproofartists.com for more information.
